There are textile threads glued one by one, next to each other, after which they are put on the press, to be permanently glued on the adhesive support. What I like about this technique is that the thread is uninterrupted along its entire length, unlike fabric or embroidery, and so the light flows on it and is reflected in a completely unexpected way. Also, the threads being different from each other, creating a very rich and beautiful texture.
The most suitable is to be seen in sunlight, because the reflexes are different and a beautiful play of lights appears.
The threads are hand-painted in beautiful contrasting shades between the red of “hell” and the blue of paradise, with shades of protocol yellow for the rhinestone side.
